My latest picks for the ‘1001 Movies Challenge’ sparked a completely new interest in these films for me. A spark, that was in a great need of being ignited again, as some of the previously chosen films has failed to deliver for me. But that’s not the case of these 3 films.
On days like these, I try not to do anything that would require too much energy or brain activity as my brain is not properly oxygenated to be able to fully perform. So, with not enough oxygen in my system and feeling half asleep, I thought these are the perfect conditions to watch the new Baywatch!
Chick-flick books about love with the inevitable happy endings have never been my thing. I always thought I can do better than that! Turns out, life can get so hard sometimes, that the guaranteed happy endings might be just the thing you need.. Especially when like me you find yourself absolutely refusing love for whatever reason.. Sounds like you? Then carry on reading and find out through my personal story how even you can fall in love again.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of In the Heat of the Night’s release and I couldn’t help but think how relevant the film still is today…which is.. kinda sad. 50 years later and we are still discussing equality. racial issues, we’re still discussing equality. Can you believe it?
La Mallorquina, Madrid’s most famous bakery gets incredibly busy! Remember that scene from Eat Pray Love where Julia Roberts tries to order some coffee in the busy café in Rome? Yep. That sort of busy. You have been warned.
Spain has been one of my oldest dreams, and inspired by watching The Limits of Control where the Lone Man wanders through Madrid and later on through Seville, I thought ‘hey! I want to do that, too!’ Sadly, Seville didn’t fit into the plans this time, but there’s always the next time, right?
…or maybe you were not, but just prefered not to know.. Whatever the case, I just thought I’ll give you a few fun facts about the person behind all this, should you be interested (or maybe more than a few…) So, if you’re brave enough and decide to carry on reading – nice to meet you!!! And welcome to my crazy mind.
